I cannot believe we have been so busy. I guess it is because I am sitting through all the business meetings which I have never had to do before.
I think the last thing I talked about was on Tuesday.
Wednesday morning Lynn and I had breakfast with the other GGs and AGGs and Toni and Rick (the new Supreme and Associate Supreme--or they will be Sat.) A lot of the people we remembered from other get-togethers with them.

Then those meetings started. We heard lots of reports and started on the 46 ammendments. We still have over 1/2 to do and some of the ones coming up are the real controversial ones.

The All Job's Daughter's Luncheon was fun--even Stacey and Hailey came and we fed her a lemon--Hailey.

Back to meetings. Then we had the formal banquet. Toni sat with us at our table. We were sort of rushed out of there to the Formal Opening.
It was definitely different. All the daughters got to sit in the chairs and the adults had to take the bleacher seats. It also lasted from 7:30 until 10:45. At first, since we were not in the program Lynn and I thought we were not going to take the usual turn around the floor as GG and AGG, but suddenly they asked all of us to line up. They did actually remember to bring us in though but we were then taken to an area and had to sit in the bleachers way up high. The flag ceremony lasted 40 minutes, but Mahaley and Maddy did a good job. Elecia participated in the Necrology Ceremony and Rustie accepted Amanda Thomlinson's scholarship for her. Way to go Amanda!

This am we had Supreme Bethel and I must have let out a squeal when they pulled Indiana for SBJP, cause everyone turned around and looked at me. Way to go Rustie, Lindsey, and Mahaley. We are proud of you.

The Royalty Luncheon as usual was fun and we had a good IN turnout. The men went to Men of Job's luncheon.

The states of CA and MI invited us to Oakland in 2013 for Supreme Session. Their song was real cute.

We started in on more reports and ammendments until someone reminded the Supreme Guardian there was a pageant that night and some people had dinners to attend.

Then the pageant. We were real proud of Rustie and the way she represented IN. After the top ten were named and they answered their question (it was a pretty decent one this year) I called the winner. The girl from Brazil was very good and I hope she can travel to a lot of the US.
Ask Brittney Utley about having to answer a final question. She did a good job too.

I am going to bed now as election starts at 8:00 in the morning. I also do not want to blog about my abilities as a waitress, but ask Lindsey Noland and she can tell you. The Indiana Get-together was fun and thanks Kathy Cooper for taking care of it for us.
